Description
This pack contains all the fabrics you will need for the different borders on the Amelie Quilt. Please note these fabrics are different from my original quilt but are a close match.
AMELIE QUILT BORDERS PACK:
BORDER 1
BORDER 3 & BORDER 8
BEFORE CUTTING READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS FOR BOTH BORDERS!
These are cut from the same fabric. You are supplied with a 2.2m length that is half the width of the fabric. This is enough to cut all your lengths without seams to join on to the side of your quilt top. Border 3 is cut 2.25 inches wide, I would centre it on a stripe.
Border 8 is cut 3’ in the pattern. ( this was because the fabric that I had already had a different border in it.) For the border kit I am suggesting that you cut this strip 2.25” sew these to your quilt top and then from this monotone fabric cut another strip that is 1.5” wide and sew to the outside of the previous fabric.
